1. Drink Water
Water serves as a very effective means of keeping your skin hydrated and healthy. It moisturizes the skin and prevents it from losing its elasticity and becoming dry. Hence, drink at least eight to ten glasses of water during pregnancy and adhere to a weight loss program to ensure that the skin can expand and contract easily without leaving any visible marks.
2. Potato Juice to Remove Stretch Marks
This is the cheapest and one of the rapid home remedies for stretch marks. Potato is a super food due to its many components like essential fatty acids and a variety of phytochemicals, It also has loads of vitamins and minerals including Vitamin-C, B-complex, potassium, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus and zinc. Because a potato is capable of stimulating collagen and elastin synthesis, it can effectively restore skin cells fading away your stretch marks.
• Potato- 1 (medium sized)
• Knife- to cut potato
• Lukewarm water- to wash off
• Cut the potato into thick sized slices.
• Take a slice and rub it gently over your stretch marks. Ensure to apply its juice all over your marks.
• Leave it for 5-10 minutes.
• Wash off with lukewarm water.
3. Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera is also known to diminish stretch marks. All you have to do is to take aloe Vera gel ,cod liver oil and if you don’t have cod liver oil then take vitamin E oil and apply on the stretched mark area. This is considered to be a quite a speedy process in healing stretch marks.
Sugar is used as a natural exfoliant for skin. It is one of the best home remedies to get rid of stretch marks. Take a tablespoon of sugar. Add some drops of almond oil and lemon juice in it. Stir it well and apply directly on the stretch marks. Rub it for 8-10 minutes and then, take a shower. Continue to use it for one month or so, until the stretch marks gets fade out.
Alfalfa sprout is an effective remedy for stretch marks as well. It is rich in Vitamin K, Vitamin E and amino acids. Vitamin E helps neutralize the oxidant effect of free radicals that damage collagen which is the main reason of wrinkles. Vitamin K regulates the process of blood clotting and bone mineralization. Amino acids help to nourish the skin.
• Alfalfa powder- 1 tea spoon
• Chamomile oil-4 drops
Add alfalfa powder to chamomile oil and mix it for 5 minutes. Apply the paste to the stretch marks carefully. Leave it for 15 minutes and there after wash off with water.
